Our research is varied as each industry and Government sector has its own issues and problems associated with traditions, working practices, conditions and environmental factors. Some of our research:-

Global plc: Cummins – Motor industry case study (2005-2009)

Online program, (now known as CircleSafe/Steps for Success) study with Cummins, a large automotive industry organisation, proved very successful and was hailed as a ‘must’ by Management and the Union. See testimonial by Frank J Walsh.

Education Sector: Ground breaking research in Education sector on Stress and Coping Strategies for Teachers and Support Staff (Teachers TV)

In 2006-2007 Patricia Elliot in conjunction with researcher Dr Chris Gibbons from Queens University Belfast and Teachers TV undertook a ground breaking world first study of the stress and coping strategies particularly related to teachers and school support staff at Kings Langley School using the specially designed valid and reliable stress questionnaire (CircleSafe ‘life’ test). The results were analysed by Dr Gary Prentice. This resulted in 5 programmes aired over a week on Teachers TV in February and April 2007.

If you are a decision maker within the education system anywhere in the UK and need advice and guidance on stress compliance and deployment of stress related initiatives within your work environment then CircleSafe/Steps for Success is for you.

Public Sector: Can Online Stress Intervention Programs help? (BPS Nov 2003)

Our Steps for Success online program was trialled at Glasgow City Council, a large public sector organisation. The success of the trial was presented at the Scottish British Psychological Society Conference and published in the journal thereafter. The results indicate that our online program is an effective component in any stress management initiative, as well as an effective tool in its own right.  (Chris Gibbons, Queens University, Belfast and Patricia Elliot, Originator/Innovator of the Steps for Success System).

Public Sector: Glasgow City Council (2001-03)

Department of Regeneration Services – following successful impact of the Steps for Success online program on the users in this department,  Patricia Elliot was the only private sector to be invited to exhibit at the public sector Open Scotland Exhibition in October 2003 at which Andy Kerr,  MSP,  Public Finance and Accounting,  and Health Minister was in attendance.
