In addition to being an examiner for various professional institutes, Patricia is consulted as an academic reviewer and validator of courses at further education colleges and universities in the UK.

Having won awards for the online form of Steps for Success Program and with her creative mind and innovative approach to well-being Patricia continues to design services and products.
RESEARCH PROJECTS
- Audios/videos – recording relaxation guided meditations/visualisations/various topics e.g. fear of flying etc.
- Stress Instrument (electronic instrument for measuring stress levels)
- CircleSafe valid and reliable ‘life’ test – more than stress risk assessment questionnaire – individuals receive confidential results and report which provides a ‘starting point’ for moving forward towards a ‘new you’.
- Quidia - shapes test – automated programming
- CircleSafe – request to include other areas for ‘testing’ including ‘financial risk’

Research Project No 2
11 March 2011: research testing. Notice given for participating in my research study- place, dates, times were:-
Place: 1st floor, Rankine Building, Electronics & Electrical Engineering Dept, 65 Oakfield Avenue, Glasgow, G12 8LT
Dates: Wednesday 16, Thursday 17, Friday 18 and Monday 21 March 2011
Time: between 10 am and 2 pm
Participants liaised and confirmed attendance, signed consent forms and confidentiality agreements.
14 – 21 March 2011: Beta testing with participants completed. Many thanks to all who took part. The participants also used the valid and reliable CircleSafe ‘Life’ Questionnaire to test the electronic instrument.
The instrument for measuring stress levels has now been prototyped. The Research Study is being carried out by Matthew Westwick, Investigator, under the supervision of Principal Researcher Dr. Bernd Porr, Glasgow University, Electrical Engineering department. I am pleased to report that the demonstration of the first prototype was amazing and participants are now required for continuing the research study. The test is non-invasive and will be carried out at Glasgow University around mid to end March 2011. As participants you will be provided with an information sheet explaining the purpose of the study and under the rules of ethics a consent form will require to be signed. 20 April 2011: meeting with Wendy Liu, Manager, China-Britain Business Council to discuss manufacturers in China of my electronic instrument for measuring stress.
January 2012 – - discussions with ‘firmware’ designers on stress measurement product.
October 2012 – following the above discussions project now being further developed in USA to provide ‘wireless’ stress instrument – watch this space.

9 March 2011: meeting with Dr Sylvia Morrison, Research & Enterprise, Glasgow University to discuss details of the First Step Award project to be carried out by Researchers Anthony Stell and Jipu Jiang.
23 March 2011: approval for project to proceed.

10 March 2012: request from organisation for possibility of including ‘financial’ risk section within CircleSafe.

January 2013 - completion of first set of volumes for Steps for Success as well as series of fictional stories all offered through Steps for Success products.
